It shows how the same government that brought you massive cost over-runs for their ‘contractor friends’, and that has already dolled out billions of YOUR MONEY for military “protection” are NOW using the Olympics as a pretext to slowly acclimatize the population of BC into accepting a big brother police state. Note how the two people interviewed show either complete or somewhat grudging acceptance of a Big Brother surveillance grid. Also note how the BC Ferries is claimed to be a target, yet the ferries are not any part of the Olympic complex or transport corridor, nor could one imagine what sort of damage could be done by hijacking such a vessel, and presumably crashing it slowly into the parliament buildings – a feat which would also require the ferry to levitate some 50 feet above sea level. Otherwise, what would be the point of taking out one ferry, when replacements are readily available, and winter is considered the OFF SEASON to traffic going to the island.
