I’m gonna expect that. I am posting a negative comment where “die hard” fans are gonna see it, but you gotta be crule to be kind ken. I respect you for standing up for SEGA, but please hear me out. I still love Sega and still call myself a fan, which is why I’m disapointed. I want Sega to do well, and its so easy for them to be big again!! All people want is a Sonic game, Its so blatantly simple!! I’m sorry, I don’t want them to die out like everything else.

there not going to do a 2d old fasihon game because the technology has advanced, and those old engines are not worth booting up with there new technology, get with the times please

That’s quite a childish remark from a man of your age. Just because something’s old doesn’t mean it has to be updated ASAP. I mean, why fix it if it wasn’t broken in the first place? If sega did boot up an old engine, it’d be one of the best Sonic games created. I can’t believe how many are against this idea, I’m shocked at the Sonic fan community. None of you seem to be answering my questions, none of you seem open minded enough to take the idea onboard. Instead all you can do is deny, why?

you have to realize its 2009/2010, not 1991, and while that time period was fine, you can’t stay in the past forever. Because if they repeat the old stuff over and over, its going to turn up like final fansty with its ever long lasting FF7 series.
Also i’m not apart of the fanbase coummunity, yes i like the stories and characters, artwork, and some other things, but thats all, because thats what being an anthro fan is all about
I guess, But my point is I don’t see the point in calling it Sonic when clearly it’s completely different from a sonic game. There ARE ways to renew Sonic and still make it exciting without ripping off other franchises. FF7 is an ongoing story and can’t really be compared with Sonic, FF7 has only had a few instalments since 1997, and at least FF7 and it’s spin-offs are well thought of, but that’s besides the point. Sega has to stop slapping Sonic’s face on random crap, It’s a scam.

you do know there’s nothing wrong with straying from the main path, that and just because they do something that another franchise has done doesn’t mean its unoringal
in fact, why don’t we say sonic is a rip off of crash who is a rip off of sly copper who is a rip off of star fox, ect, because they all have one thing in common, its all animal based concept games, no matter what type of gameplay they have.
In general, all games borrow concepts from each other
Dude, you do have a point. But I stick to my word, the quality needs to improve. At this point I feel the discussion has gone on for long enough, I’ve posted what I think, I probably should just leave it… Plus, I feel pretty bad, as I may be giving out the wrong impression. I do love Sega and their past work. And the music for even the new games is really awesome!! But I guess they’re not going to change their ways just for us old sonic fans. Thanks for replying…
welcome, i really do hope that maybe in the future as a bonus they do a quick little fun title liek the old ones, but all in all, i enjoy whatever they have, and maybe one day if possible i’d liek to join them if i get enough experience

Yes you have a point but the whole game can’t glassed as bad because of the night stages alone. Look at Majoras Mask way to few Dungeons but that’s one of my favourite Zelda games.
