Since I got “Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games” last night, I thought that it would be a good idea if I showed the ‘London Party’ mode, as well as some of the ‘Single Event’ sports. {I will be taking the difficulty up a notch each time I increase the length of the ‘London Party’ game.} For the first part of this video series, I’m playing the ‘London Party’ mode. ‘London Party’ mode is a party game mode where you and three opponents tour around the city of London to communicate with officials, compete in events, earn stickers, etc. I’m using Mario; my opponents are Peach, Shadow, and Bowser Jr. — I’m no pro at this game yet; I just started playing it last night, and I haven’t even played every event on the disc yet.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, a sports compilation developed and published in 2011 by Sega for the Wii. Metal Sonic on a horse. That’s what it all comes down to. Sure, I could talk about the new events and characters, the London Party mode that has you tearing about the city in search of stickers, or the gear you can obtain for selling your soul to the Scratch-card gods. But all of those pale in comparison to Metal Sonic on a horse. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games for the Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s TJ. THIS ISN’T THE ENNNNNNDDDDD! ……okay that’s a lie. This is the last of the dream events and that’s it for my look at the newest Mario and Sonic game. Is it a good game? It’s okay. If you don’t have friends it’s just a mini-game collection however, so you’ve been warned.
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, THE MORE THE MERRIER! After finishing with the repeated events, we see the Dream Events, where Mario and Sonic’s worlds play host to crazy games.
GET A LOAD OF THIS! We see the rest of the new events, then Eggman tackles some events that were in the first game. They’ve been slightly updated. SLIGHTLY.
