“J’Imagine”, performed by-interpretée par Annie Villeneuve. En Francais. The world is coming to Vancouver in 2010! On a confié à Annie Villeneuve linterprétation de la chanson thème des Jeux dhiver 2010 à Vancouver, Jimagine/I Believe du compositeur Stephan Moccio. Il ya plus dun an, la rencontre entre la chanteuse Annie Villeneuve et le pianiste et compositeur Stephan Moccio devait donner naissance à une collaboration importante. Stephan Moccio avait déjà amorcé la composition de la chanson-thème des Jeux olympiques quand il travaillait avec Annie Villeneuve à la production de la chanson Mon Héros, qui se retrouve sur le dernier album éponyme dAnnie. Cest à ce moment que le compositeur a demandé à Annie denregistrer la voix sur la pièce quil préparait pour les Jeux olympiques. À partir de cette collaboration, Stephan Moccio était convaincu quAnnie devait interpréter cette chanson qui allait devenir le thème officiel des Jeux de 2010. Les paroles en anglais ont été composées par Alan Frew (chanteur du groupe Glass Tiger) et ladaptation française a été faite par Annie Villeneuve. Lenregistrement a eu lieu à Toronto et c’est lOrchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM), sous la direction de Stephan Moccio, qui a été retenu pour accompagner la chanteuse. En plus, un chœur denfants, le Bach childrens chorus sest joint à elle pour la grande finale afin de rendre une émotion encore plus grandiose.
