It was the design that won in the logo contest . It is an INUKSCHUK. The aboriginal first Nations people used to mark the way to point to where to get to the village/ help or where there are people. The horizontal stone will point the way.
If you are in downtown Vancouver, you can come into the First Nations house and try your hand in building one. Take a picture of your creation for posterity or send that picture to your beloved with the arm pointing at you.
